INGREDIENT
Milk Powder – ½ Cup/50 gm
Maida (All Purpose Flour) – 1.5 Cup/200 gm
Khoya (Grated) – 1 Cup/125 gm
Cardamom Powder – 1 tsp/5 gm
Saunf (Fennel Seeds) – 1 tsp/ 5 gm
Baking Powder – 1 tsp/5 gm
Warm Milk
Sugar Syrup:
Sugar – 2.50 Cup/625 gm
Water – 2 Cup/500 ml
Cardamom – 2 Nos.
METHOD
In a Bowl add Milk Powder, All purpose flour, Cardamom Powder, Fennel Seeds, Baking Powder and mix well.
Add Grated Khoya, Mix and add Ghee and Mix well.
Add Warm Milk (around 50 ml) or as required and Knead Well.
Knead until you get smooth and soft Dough.
Flatten Dough (Slightly Thick) in 9 inch Pan and Cut in to Pieces.
Heat Desi Ghee in a Pan for Frying.
Fry the Pieces on medium Flame.
Fry at low Flame till Golden Brown uniformly.
Strain and keep aside.
For Sugar Syrup:
In a Pan add Sugar, Water, Cardamom and once sugar dissolved completely then boil for 5 Minutes.
Add Sugar Syrup in Paal Cake and Soak for 2-3 Hours (Soak longer for better taste).
