Chicken Wings Recipe

These Chicken Wings with Mango-Chili Sauce are a delicious addition to Party and get-togethers! The Mango-Chili sauce is so tasty with a hint of the freshness of the mango and heat from the chili, and compliments the wings perfectly! Throw them for deep fry or in the oven for a perfect appetizer or main any night of the week.


INGREDIENTS


Chilli Mango Chicken Wings For the Mixing Chicken Wings – 600 gm Salt – 1 tsp / 5 gm Black Pepper Powder – 1 tsp / 5 gm Chili Powder – 1 tsp / 5 gm Baking Powder – 1 tbsp / 15 gm For Chili Mango Sauce Butter – 1 tbsp / 15 gm Cumin Powder – ½ tsp / 2.5 gm Fennel Seed Powder – ½ tsp / 2.5 gm Sweet Mango Puree – 1 cup Honey – 2 tbsp / 30 ml Salt – As Per Taste Chili Powder – 1 tsp / 5 gm Ketchup – 3 tbsp / 45 ml Tamarind Water – ¼ Cup Buffalo Chicken Wings For the Mixing Chicken Wings – 600 gm Chili Powder – 1 tsp / 5 gm Salt – As Per taste Cornstarch – 1 tbsp / 15 gm All-Purpose Flour – 4 tbsp / 60 gm For Buffalo Sauce Butter – 4 tbsp / 60 gm- Hot Sauce – ½ Cup Ketchup – 3 tbsp / 45 ml Honey – 4 tbsp / 60 ml Salt – A Pinch


METHOD

  • In a small mixing bowl, combine Chicken Wings, Salt, Black Pepper Powder, chili powder, and Baking Powder and Mix Well

  • In a pot, heat the Oil, Thow the marinated chicken wings for Deep Fry on a Medium Heat for 10 minutes or Until Golden Brown.

  • Now for the Mango Chili Sauce, Take a saucepan, heat it on medium flame, and add Butter, Cumin Powder, Fennel Seed Powder, and sautee it for 30 seconds.

  • Next, add your mango puree and Stir continuously to prevent sticking and simmer for 2 minutes.

  • Add Honey, and 1/2 cup water, and bring it to Boil. After that, Add Salt, Chili Powder, Ketchup, and Keep stirring it occasionally and simmer it for few minutes or until your sauce reaches the preferred consistency.

  • Add Tamarind Water, and Cook for 2 minutes.

  • Now add the Fried Wings and Fully coat your cooked wings in the sauce and Serve HOT! 😊


Buffalo Chicken Wings The Buffalo Chicken wings reportedly were invented in the ’60s at the Anchor Bar in Buffalo, New York by Teressa Bellissimo. They are traditionally served hot, along with celery sticks and carrot sticks with blue cheese dressing or, primarily outside of New York, ranch dressing for dipping. This side acts not only as a dip but as a cooling element for those eating particularly spicy wings. We have taken this classic dish and try to do it like how we make it in our house for friends and families.


METHOD

  • In a small mixing bowl, combine Chicken Wings, Chili Powder, Salt, Cornstarch, All-Purpose Flour, and Mix them Well

  • In a pot, heat the Oil, Thow the marinated chicken wings for Deep Fry on a Medium Heat for 7 Minutes Or Until Golden Brown.

  • Now for the Buffalo Sauce, Take a saucepan, heat it on medium flame, and add Butter, Hot Sauce, Ketchup, Stir continuously and simmer for 2 minutes.

  • Next, add your mango puree and Stir continuously to prevent sticking and simmer for 2 minutes.

  • Add Honey, and Cook for another 2 minutes, and Now add just a pinch of salt.

  • Now add the Fried Wings and Fully coat your cooked wings in the sauce and Serve HOT! 😊
