This video is about Aloo Tikki - Aloo tikki is a snack originating from the Indian subcontinent; in North Indian, Pakistani and Bangladeshi preparation.
It is made out of boiled potatoes, peas, and various curry spices. "Aloo" means potato, and the word "tikki" means a small cutlet or croquette Ingredients
INGREDIENTS
Filling Grated Paneer - 100 gm Grated Potatoes - 1 small Cashews Chopped - 1 tbsp / 15 gm Raisins -1 tbsp /15 gm Salt - As per taste Red Chilli Powder - ½ tsp / 2.5 gm
Aloo Dough Boiled Grated Potatoes - 4 Medium Chopped Green Chillies - 2 Nos Chopped Coriander - Handful Garam Masala - 2 tsp / 10 gm Kashmiri Chilli Powder - 1 tsp / 5 gm Coriander Powder - 1 tsp / 5 gm Dry Mango Powder - 2 tsp / 10 gm Roasted Cumin Powder - 1 tsp/5 gm Salt - As per taste Cornstarch Powder - 3 tbsp / 45 gm
METHOD
Filling Mixture – Grated 1 small boiled potatoes and Paneer
Add on Cashews Chopped, Raisins, Salta and red Chilli powder in the bowl and Mix well
Aloo Tikka Dough Preparation
Grated 4 Medium Boiled Potatoes
Add on Chopped Green Chillies, Garam Masala, Kashmiri Chilli Powder, Coriander Powder, Dry mango Powder, Roaster Cumin Powder, Salt, Chopped Coriander, Cornstarch Powder and mix well.
Spread some oil on palm - Form Dough – BALL SIZED, Flatten it slightly.
Shallow Fry- hot
Fry both sides – flip over till it’s golden & Crisp brown
Spread some beaten yogurt, Tamarind Chutney, Mint Chutney, on it
If you like your Aloo Tikki in more sauce then repeat the process
Finally Sprinkle Sev and Chaat Masala
