Potato pinwheels/Aloo ke Namkeen Jalebi are great for party snacks. It is a delicious mix of grated mashed potatoes, onions, and spices! The potatoes with spices and a nice salty touch makes a great snacks to Impress your friends and family.
INGREDIENTS
Boiled Potato – 3 Medium
Onion – 1 Nos
Finely Chopped Green Chilli – 2 Nos
Finely Chopped Coriander leaves – 2 tbsp/10 gm
Ginger Garlic Paste – 2 tsp/ 10 gm
Turmeric Powder – ½ tsp/2.5 gm
Red Chilli Powder – ½ tsp/2.5 gm
Carom Seeds (Ajwain) – 1 tsp/5 gm
Chaat Masala – 1 tsp/5 gm
Salt – As per taste
Baking Powder – 1 tsp/5 gm
Corn Starch – 4 tbsp/60 gm
Oil for shallow fry
METHOD
In a Bowl Grate Boiled Potato and Onion (Use small size grate for Onion).
Add finely chopped Green Chilli, finely chopped Coriander Leaves, Ginger Garlic Paste, Turmeric Powder, Red Chilli Powder, Carom Seeds, Chaat Masala, Salt, Baking Powder, Corn Starch.
Mix well everything together, until potato dough become smooth (No Lumps).
Take a Piping Bag and fill it with potato mixture.
With the help of scissor cut the tip of piping bag, give Jalebi shape to the potato mixture on a Greased Butter Paper and shallow fry in hot oil.
Fry till Golden Brown.
Aloo Ke Namkin Jalebi is ready.
